Oh and it's not mute groups because it shuts off the continous sample at random times.

I have run into an issue lately. I have an acoustic kick trigger I use for an 808 sample. I also have a tambourine loop setup. They are both fine by themselves, but when played together the tambourine loop stops. It stops in random places, but pretty soon into the song. Anyone had this problem?

The 808 wave for the kick was imported as standard quality, and is set to default settings.

The tambourine loop is one measure of 4/4 of a recorded tambourine. It was imported as standard quality, and I have to use ALT to trigger so I can stop it at certain points. It's set to single, alt, loop on.

@Stephen,

Here's the link for the SPD-S manual (simply add all 3 "w" at the beginning of the following string):
.roland.com/support/article/?q=manuals&p=SPD-S&id=1811550

Hey I dont have a manual could some1 inform me of how to format my cf in spd-s?
Also I made a few bad click tracks and it has the wave protected phrase pop up. I read some1s post to power on spd-s holding down wave and setup buttons. If I do this will all my internal memory get deleted. Just curious before I try it?

@Thomas,

Your problem has to do with the global settings. The Control Switch option of your pad #7 is set to PATCH +. So, regardless of the patch you are in, pad #7 has been assigned the duty to jump to the next patch when hit.

To fix the problem do the following:
- Press the SETUP button (SPD-S should display SYSTEM),
- Press twice on the PAGE right button (►) (until the SPD-S display CONTROL SW)
- Press on the ENTER button
- Strike on PAD #7 (the SPD-S should display CtrlSW PATCH+)
- Press the - button to set the CtrlSW option to OFF
- Press the SETUP button to save and exit setup.

It should now be OK.
